Welcome back to Briarwood School for another great school year! We are a community that is committed to a positive learning and working environment for all. We hold high expectations for our students and strive to reach each person’s potential.
Currently, we have approximately 340 students and 50 staff members. We have 6 kindergarten classrooms, 5 first grade classrooms and 5 second grade classrooms. Our class size ranges 20-22 students. We are committed to being a child-center environment where children are active learners!
My vision for Briarwood is that we will be a place of high expectations for all and collaboratively we promote a community that is dedicated to lifelong learning for all. We will continue to be committed to providing excellence in our instruction for every child as we differentiate to meet the needs of individuals. Students are provided instruction to develop their skills and knowledge through activities in reading, listening, speaking, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, as well as visual and performing arts.
We are a partnership, which includes teachers, students, parents and community to collaboratively develop lifelong learners!
